It's day 2 of ENCORE Week of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, as we are giving you five of our fave episodes from 2024 (and in today's case, 2023!). Upon a Star Jenn has listed this as one of her all time faves, and with good reason... the Ride ReThemes are pretty fantastic, as we bring in our good friends influencer Derek Franks and podcaster Ryan Street.
This time, we reverse the concept and "Disneyfy" the three Star Wars attractions in WDW - Smuggler's Run, Rise of the Resistance, and the O.G., Star Tours. And what better way to retheme a ride than to invite on the guys who did it better - Catron, Chris, Ryan, and Derek Frank, hosts of
the IAmGeek show and Living with the Landspeeder.
Six new attractions are presented, two for each of the existing Star Wars rides, with ideas from Atlantis to Aladdin to Toy Story... plus Coco gets a ride (finally), we talk more about The Black Hole than any show in recent memory, and even Walt appears at the end of an attraction.

The results? Hilarious and ingenious new attractions, with Jungle Cruise getting some Hades action... princess ideas for a roller coaster... putting Kuzco in Splash... and an incredible Mr. Toad idea.

In the 133rd episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave finally decide it's time to finish up the long running Hollywood Studios series - and do so, we bring in some guys who know Star Wars extremely well -- Catron and Ryan from the IAmGeek Podcast!

We then lead to experiencing Rise of the Resistance, and how blown away we all were as we were brought into a Star Destroyer, and how we see the ride today.
