Ep 111. The One with Disneyland thru Neverland

In the 111th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave welcome back to the show the amazing Sarah & Rich Woloski, from Skywalking thru Neverland -- their first time back since Ep 14 way back in August of 2020!

Jenn and Dave first talk a little about the park hopping rumors, then a CEO contract extension, and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party - and Dave's love of Hawaiian shirts.

Rich and Sarah then join the show, and chat about their new book - Star Wars History Volume I - and then a Disneyland Draft of sorts, with each picking... or "drafting"... five things they love about Disneyland right now. Characters, attractions, water shows, resorts and much more.

Ep 110. The One with Going Solo at Disney

In the 110th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave are ready to tell you why you need to take a trip all by your lonesome to Disney World!

First, Jenn is getting ready for another trip, while d$ has signed up for a runDisney event... the Disney Wish has a home, leading to a random Bob Seger tangent... are robots coming to Disney soon?... and the return Chip n Dale at Fort Wilderness, Donald at Animal Kingdom, Minnie rejoining Mickey, Maribel making her MK debut and so many more familiar faces returning!

Then, d$ gives his take on Pixar's "Lightyear", the good, the bad, the marketing mistake, and of course, the controversy.

Finally, Jenn and Dave walk through all the great advantages of doing a solo trip to the parks -- moving at your own pace, making your own decisions about food and resorts, staying safe, -- and even some of the cons, like not having a good way to save your spot during the fireworks!

Ep 109. The One with The Contemporary

In the 109th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave are finally past all the medical emergencies and the travel and everything else, and can now sit down and do a normal (what is normal?) episode like usual!

First, Dave has a new Hawaiian shirt, and blames Jenn for the number of Dooney purses in the home now. Next, the news brings lots of returns, like Victoria & Alberts, Minnie Vans, and Star Wars characters, the Tron lights come on, the Nemo show is back, and a new Escape Room is coming to CityWalk!

Then a quick recap of the week that was, both in Universal and in Epcot, for the Upon a Star Team -- plus the tale of Dave's wife and her purse challenge.

Finally, a great discussion about Disney's Contemporary Resort, one of the 2 original resorts on Walt Disney World property!  The discussion goes over the history of the resort, the garden wings and losing one of them, the art and lobby inspired by Mary Blair (and who is Mary Blair? find out on the show) and much more

Ep 108. The One with Our Universal Faves

In the 108th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave get to record from the same room again!  They've shared a mic twice in Cancun, and now for the second time, Universal Studios!

After spending a day with the Upon a Star Team in both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, and finishing the day in CityWalk, the duo give a quick overview of the day and some of the things they enjoy the most enjoy about the other park that isn't Disney World.

And as a bonus, fan fave #kylaKylaKYLA returns to the show as well as a few other voices to share some of their faves and takes on VelociCoaster, doughnuts, Universal restaurants, a look at Endless Summer resorts, the perks of a premium resort, and even Brenden Fraser... yes, that one!

Ep 107. The One with the Chick Chat

In the 107th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave... well, Jenn... and... Quasi Producer Heather... because Dave is out of action for the week (more on that next week!)

Quasi Producer Heather steps in to co-host this week with Jenn, as they just free flow the conversation, talking a little on everything from the Upon a Star team's upcoming trip to Universal to Jenn's new LoungeFly to Heather's new ears to the most recent trips to WDW and of course, Guardians -- more specifically, how did that Virtual Queue and Individual Lightning Lane work out?
