Ep 298. The One with the Disney Horror Stories
In the 298th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave are ready to share some Disney horror stories... but first... we know the best answer to any question is "Spend the night in Disney". And for Dave's kid, the best answer is "We have a reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table!"Then, Jenn is getting set for her upcoming cruise in Italy, walking through both the cruise itinerary she's ready for, but also getting ready for the cruise - some tips on things to know and pack for, and some differences in American cruises and European cruises.
Finally, they give their is "horror stories"... not the awful, devastating things, but those things we just find super duper inconvenience - getting stuck on a ride... in the hot sun. Getting caught in the rain... and the humidity that comes after. Finding out the MCO lines are closed... or the wrong song... or a Lightning Lane across the entire park...

Ep 266. The One with the Animal Kingdom CEOs
In the 266th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave are prepping for a weekend trip with the Upon a Star Team to Cancun... but before that, there is magic to be discussed.
First, Jenn is getting ready for a day in Epcot with #KylaKylaKyla, Quasi Producer Heather (aka The Moana Mom) and several other Upon a STARS, while Dave is proud to announce the totals from the recent WDW Park Run Challenge

Finally, the go along with our ideas for Epcot - when we were Epcot CEOs (episode 262) - we now tackle Animal Kingdom... if we were in charge of the park, knowing we cannot go crazy with new lands or big new rides, what would we do?
Our ideas include what to do with Rafiki's Planet Watch... looking at Finding Nemo: the Musical... updating Pandora... fixing Kali River Rapids... more characters... and of course, addressing the issue with The Yeti. And... hippos. We need more hippos.
And then we do dream a little bigger - what if we could do one big project?

Ep 233. The One with the Disney Treasure
First, a little Disney catch up, on Jenn being gone for weeks and d$ finishing up 10 days at WDW, then an update on the newest refurb dates for attractions like Gran Fiesta Tour, plus updated closing/opening dates for several other attractions - plus what will happen with the Skyliner?
Then, Jenn gives her report on the Disney Treasure, with so many of its features and surprises - the lounges, including the Haunted Mansion lounge (and its secret menu) and the Scat Cat lounge, themed after the Aristocats... the shows, including the new Moana stage show and speculation of it coming to Broadway... the restaurants, like the Coco experience and show... plus so much more than Jenn saw, and didn't have time to get to.

Ep 215. The One with the Rabbit Trails (and D23 Predictions)
In the 215th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn is joined by Quasi-Producer Heather, aka The Moana Mom, as co-host Dave is down for the count with a shaky voice, having just getting over a summer cold. (he's fine, folks, he'll survive).

Ep 212. The One with Cruising the Med

Ep 188. The One with Our Favorite Disney Theater Shows
In the 188th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave are braving the cold from their homes, drinking from Disney mugs and replacing Disney jewelry, and trying to stay warm - and give a few hints on dealing with a cold snap in WDW.
In the news, the Flower & Garden opening dates have been revealed, as well as the Country Bears closing dates. The Disney Treasure will feature Moana as part of their Broadway style show. And Kali River Rapids' reopening date, which leads to Jenn's mini-rant against the attraction, and which rides she'd chunk out of each park.
Then, they look at both past and present theater shows to determine their favorites - any attraction which features the guest sitting in a theater chair or bench, staring at the stage or screen. From current - like loving the Tumble Monkeys or Frozen narrators - to past, like Drew Carey's previous park presence or Nemo, old and new.

Jenn is trying to plan her own trip in between her busy schedule, while Dave has finished Bob Thomas' definitive Walt bio, "Walt Disney: An American Original", and then to remember 9/11, Dave shares the story of Disney World on the morning of Sept 11, 2001 - how the parks reacted, meeting with other parks, and Cast Members funneling all the guests out of the parks.
