Ep 299. The One with Disney Springs Parking & Eat to the Beat

LISTEN TO THE EPISODE!

In the 299th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn is sailing the high seas around Italy on the Disney Dream, so joining Dave in the podcast is first time guest / guest co-host April Craft, aka Curated By April on Insta.

A fellow travel planner at Upon a S
tar Travel, April is here to give her own opinions and discuss all the latest!

First, April is excited about helping the clients, while Dave is happy with Toy Story Taylor (Tay Story?) CDs in the mail.

Then, a look at the latest, including Disneyland changing up their Autopia cars... the breakfast buffet returning at Chefs de France... and then, an extensive look (much longer than we thought) at the Eat to the Beat line-up, highlighting artists that we know (Boyz II Men! Tiffany! Fitz!) and spotlighting those we aren't sure about (Fly Guys? The War and the Treaty? Element?)

Finally, we look at the new small announcement made by Disney last week, that the new policy for parking at Disney Springs will take effect on June 28th - and how a small announcement has turned into quite a topic, mostly supportive, but also those pushing back.  We chat about why we like it, how people will try to get around it, and address some of the biggest questions on it - including how Disney doesn't like to give details when making such policies.

Ep 294. The One with the (updated) Star Wars Film Rankings

LISTEN TO THE SHOW!

In the 294th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave look back a year or so, to an episode done in April of 2025 - when we decided to rank all 12 theatrical Star Wars Films... and of course, we had to have on our Star Wars fanboy friend, The Derek Frank, to discuss.

And he is back again!

First up, not only is Jenn getting ready for her upcoming Disney travels, Dave has in his magic bands for his own trip and Derek gives the scoop on the Star Wars After Dark event in Disneyland.

Then, the trio dives into the films - the prequel trilogy, the originals,  the sequel trilogy, and the three extra movies - ranking the 12 to 1, least to most favorite, and the reasons why.  Plus, why does Jenn hate Empire Strikes Back so much?

Then, an update on Jenn's travels, Derek's new men's clothing company, and Dave telling you to all go see Project Hail Mary.

Ep 284. The One with the Disneyland CEOs

LISTEN TO THE SHOW!!

In the 284th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave are once again putting on their CEO hats, now turning their new found (if only imaginary) powers to Disney World West... that of course being Disneyland!

And to do so, they invite in (for their fourth appearance) Friends of the Show and the hosts of the popular Skywalking Through Neverland podcast, Rich & Sarah! First, their take on both Josh D'Amaro becoming the new Head Cheese for Disney, and then their thoughts on Disneyland's Star Wars Galaxy's Edge.

Then... what happens if Josh calls us all up and tells us that we are the new CEOs of Disneyland Resort? We can't plunk down a new land or a big ride in the middle of the park, but overall, we can do what we want to make the parks even better!

Including ideas from rare characters to updated After Dark parties to a Tiki Room feast to getting rid of the noxious fumes at Autopia.

Also, maybe we should get rid of the bottlenecked crowds (mostly made up of teens on their phones) with the new Move Along Cast Members...

Make sure to listen to Skywalking Through Neverland every week on all your fave pod places!

Ep 280. The One with Galaxy's Edge and Wizarding Worlds

LISTEN TO THE SHOW!

In the 280th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave are ready to chat about the Wizarding World... but first, the Star Wars...

To open up, both are set with their Guardians of the Galaxy Lightning Lanes for their upcoming trip with Upon a Star Team! Then... the big news that Original Trilogy Star Wars is coming to Disneyland's Galaxy's Edge - Han, Luke, Leia, Vader, with John Williams music, as Disney seeks to redo a little theming and timelines in the SW areas.

Plus, a quick look at the sequel trilogy and why this move maybe should have been done years ago (we've been screaming it!)

Then, focusing on the Wizarding Worlds of Harry Potter in Universal Orlando!

We discuss our own relationships to the Potterverse - reading the books, watching the movies, and impressions on seeing the first Potter area in Islands of Adventure many years ago.  Then, a look at Hogsmeade, along with Hogwarts Castle and Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure over in Islands, then Diagon Alley, with Gringott's ride and Nocturn Alley in Universal Studios, and finally, the Parisian theming and the Ministry of Magic, plus the circus show and that French cafe that we forgot the name of, all over in Epic Universe.

It's not nearly as comprensive as it could be - that would take many hours - but it's a great overview of what you can expect at the Wizarding Worlds - plus how you can (and should) ride the Hogwarts Express!
