Ep 115. The One with the MCU Updates

LISTEN TO THE EPISODE HERE

In the 115th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave have a stack of random things to discuss, starting with Jenn's forthcoming adventure into Central America, via Adventures by Disney -- and a quick refresher on what AbD is.

Then Dave's getting ready for his own upcoming trips, plus an update on Moana's Journey of Water attraction... Magic Band+ being launched... and some tips on how to handle airline travel issues.

Finally, returning to the show, the Main Street Electrical Podcast Nerdtainment extraordinaire, Michael Nipp, co-host (along with d$!) of The Deucecast Movie Show to discuss Marvel's Cinematic Universe (MCU) presentation at the recent San Diego Comic Con.  What Phase are we in, and what's coming? Which Avengers are returning? Who is the new Black Panther? And who in the world is Echo? And Thunderbolts? And is there a vampire coming?  And... the Fantastic Four is coming.

Ep 114. The One with Disney World's "Mount Rushmore"

LISTEN TO THE SHOW HERE!!

In the 114th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave are back together again, with Jenn home from the Wish finally!  Jenn shares a little of her Disney fashion, while Dave laments the loss of the CD Culture while getting an Epcot soundtrack.

A little bit of news involves another sign removal... finding a lost car... All Star Magic Bands... plus, magic bands vs Key to the Worlds Cards vs Mobile Magic.

Finally, inspired by a random tweet, the duo takes a look at each part and attempts to create a "Mount Rushmore" for both attractions and park icons -- everything from the obvious (Cinderella's Castle! Tree of Life!) to the not so obvious (where would you put the Jammin' Jungle Parade?) to the hard decisions... does Spaceship Earth go on the Attraction Mount Rushmore? or the Icon Mount Rushmore?

Ep 113. The One with Strange, Thor, and Even More!

While she checks in quickly at the very top of the show, its Quasi-Producer Heather who steps in for the co-hosting duties! First up, a look at some news (no Jingle Bell Jingle BAM!) and rumor (the Disneyland PeopleMover??) and some memories, like the terrible RocketRods and wondering where the Osborne Lights could fit into Hollywood (or could it?).

Then, a great movie discussion on recent Disney and Marvel films, including Chip n Dale's Rescue Rangers and all of their Easter Eggs... Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, including a detour with Spider-Man No Way Home... and a spoiler free (then spoiler filled) talk about Thor: Love & Thunder -- don't worry, you get a heads up on the spoilers!

Ep 112. The One with Toy Story Land

LISTEN TO THE SHOW HERE!!

In the 112th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave say "Happy 4th Birthday to Andy's Backyard" aka, "Toy Story Land" in Hollywood Studios!  Opened on June 30, 2018, it's a worthy addition to the classics in Hollywood!

First, Jenn is getting ready for her sailing on the Wish, while Dave is eyeing a ghostly new Lego set, and then they chat about the latest news -- Splash Mountain's refurb gets a new name... Disney cancels, then uncancels a train... the Eat to the Beat lineup, and lamenting the lack of star power for Epcot's 40th... trying to figure out who Stokely is... why Jenn hates Hanson... and the Boutique returns!

Plus, remembering The Backlot Tour, before doing a talk-through walkthrough of Toy Story Land, including taking a look at theming, Toy Story Mania, forgetting the game order, the old Pixar Place, Alien Swirling Saucers, Slinky Dog, and even a look at Toy Story Land in other parks around the world.

And at the end, some breaking news that came in while recording -- Pooh, Tigger, Lilo, Stitch and more return to dining as three character meals are returning!

Some big thanks to those who's contributions to the show have lasted 112 episodes, including Brady Novotny (theme music)... Johnathan Iverson, the Last Ringmaster (the opening voice)... Tim Dumais (news jingle and the old podcast themes)... Katrina Stone (the ending voice)... and Scott Cuzzo (the podcast logo)
